About the event
Richard’s Ride brings the entire RTF community together to celebrate Richard’s life as well as his enthusiasm for cycling and all that it adds to our lives. Richard’s Ride has something for everyone: from short family rides, to mountain bike trail rides, to road rides from 15 to 70 miles.
The first annual Richard’s Ride was held in May 2016 starting at Cochran’s Ski Area in Richmond Vermont and has quickly become a spring tradition. The ride celebrates Richard Tom’s life and brings together old friends and new friends for smiles, camaraderie, and cycling.
Richard’s Ride is the primary fundraiser for RTF for the year to advance the causes that Richard Tom cared about: cycling safety, getting kids on bikes, and supporting young riders.
